CONCERTO COMPETITION HEATS
Well done to all students who performed so confidently in the Concerto Competition heats held on Monday and Tuesday evening. Not only were these professional concertos and arias performed with incredible technical accuracy, but the adjudicators remarked on how the students performed with incredible musicality. Congratulations to the students who have been selected to go through to the finals to be held in the Nairn Theatre on Thursday 17 May. The Senior School finalists will perform their concerto movement with the All Saints Symphony Orchestra and the Middle School finalists with a staff ensemble.

TWILIGHT CONCERTS

  • Tuesday 6 March: Band Twilight Concert, Nairn Theatre, 6:00pm
  • Thursday 8 March: Choral/Strings Twilight Concert, Chapel and Nairn Theatre, 6:00pm

Students should have now received a letter about the Twilight Concerts. Here is the link for Junior School parents to confirm their attendance. Please note that as the Year 5 Band program has only just commenced, the Year 5 Band program students will not be playing at the Band Twilight concert. They will have their own special concert on Friday 23 March. Details about this concert will be disseminated to parents next week.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
Congratulations to Year 7 violinist, Anna Suzuki, who was placed 5th in the 2018 Young Instrumentalist Prize. A wonderful achievement!
