The Position
Our Operations and Information Technology Services Team maintains a large and diverse technology ecosystem, supporting the academic, administrative and campus operations of our vibrant school community.
We are seeking an experienced ICT Systems & Database Administrator to take a leading role in the administration, development and security of our information systems. Working as a senior member of the IT team and reporting to the Operations and Technology Manager, you will combine technical expertise with a collaborative spirit, ensuring our systems remain secure, efficient, and future-focused.
This is a full-time permanent position, commencing immediately.
What You’ll Do
- Administer, maintain and develop key school information systems, including TASS, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL, Schoolbox, MS Teams and other academic and administrative applications.
- Implement and optimise integrations via APIs, SAML and database connections.
- Support server environments (Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory / Azure, Veeam) and uphold best-practice cybersecurity standards.
- Analyse systems and workflows, recommending improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to staff, students and parents.
- Ensure service quality by meeting SLAs, maintaining documentation and proactively reporting on IT operations.
- Manage asset inventories and contribute to capacity planning and strategic IT goals
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in systems administration, database management and application integration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, identity management, scripting (PowerShell), SQL and automation tools (PowerApps / BI).
- A proactive approach to cybersecurity, data governance and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to translate user needs into practical IT solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a customer focused mindset.
