An exciting opportunity has presented for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Visual Art Teacher to join our dedicated, vibrant and creative Junior School learning community in 2026.
We are seeking a dynamic Art Teacher with experience in teaching and curriculum development informed by contemporary educational research. The Junior School Art Teacher will create dynamic, hands-on learning artistic learning experiences that nurture creativity and foster a lifelong interest in visual art.
Commencing term 1 2026, this is a full-time 2026 contract position.
About you
The successful candidate will be committed to providing a supportive, inclusive and inspiring visual arts classroom where all students can explore, experiment and develop their artistic voice. You will have
- Bachelor of Education and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Proven experience and knowledge teaching visual art from prep to year 6.
- High-level interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Enthusiastic, nurturing and committed to fostering a love of art and learning in young children.
