Middle School Teacher -English/History/Geography


We are currently inviting applications from dynamic and dedicated Teachers to join our Middle School team in 2026. We are seeking educators with the ability to teach a combination of English, History and Geography across Years 7-9.

As a Middle School Teacher you will play a vital part in guiding students through this pivotal stage, not just academically, but emotionally and socially, while teaching in a dynamic and well-resourced environment. You will also actively support student wellbeing through purposeful pastoral care, working within a collaborative teaching team that values innovation, relationships and the holistic growth of every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Excellence

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the School’s curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to cater for a range of abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles.
  • Design effective assessment tasks and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Integrate technology meaningfully to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards and best practice.

Pastoral Care & Student Wellbeing

  • Build positive, respectful relationships with students that promote trust and personal growth.
  • Take responsibility for students' welfare both in and outside the classroom.
  • Support student behaviour through fair consistent strategies.
  • Engage with families, pastoral staff, and learning support professionals to support each learner holistically.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A relevant tertiary teaching qualification and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching English, History, Geography within a middle years context.
  • A strong understanding of adolescent development and a passion for working with young people.
  • A commitment to reflective practice and professional growth.
  • A desire to contribute fully to the spiritual, co-curricular, and community life of the School.
