Senior School Teacher (Physical Education)

We are currently inviting applications from a dynamic and passionate Physical Education Teacher (PE/HPE/Sport and Recreation) to join our Senior School.

This is a full-time permanent position commencing from term 3 2026.

    About the Role

    • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students in years 10–12.
    • Design and assess curriculum-aligned tasks in accordance with QCAA and Australian Curriculum standards.
    • Foster a safe, inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
    • Contribute to the co-curricular and APS sports programs.
    • Support the pastoral care and holistic development of students.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching practice.

    About You

    • A qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated excellence in teaching PE/HPE/Sport and Recreation at a senior school level.
    • Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility).
    • Strong knowledge of QCAA coursework and the Australian Curriculum.
    • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice.
    • A desire to contribute fully to the spiritual, co-curricular and community life of the school.
